2022 Arborbrook Chardonnay Corrine Vineyard, $40

In 2018, we welcomed Olenik Vineyard into our family of vineyards, renaming it Corrine in honor of our founding matriarch. Situated just two miles east of our Arborbrook Estate, Corrine is a historic vineyard with a maze of Jory volcanic and marine sedimentary soils, layered over fractured basalt that creates a striking sea of rocks where the vines thrive. This special site produces some of the most intriguing and magical wines we’ve encountered in the Willamette Valley, and we are thrilled, humbled, and honored to cultivate this land and bring its terroir to life.

This extraordinary Oregon Chardonnay is rich, medium to full-bodied, with concentrated tropical fruit, ripe pear, lemon, and honey notes. Made from 60% Wente Clone and 40% Dijon Clone Chardonnay, only 132 cases were produced, aged for 9 months in 25% new French oak.

2022 Arborbrook Pinot Noir, $45

From our Arborbrook Estate Vineyard, nestled in the heart of the Chehalem Mountains AVA, this premium wine is a blend of clones 777, 115, Pommard, and Coury, rooted in marine sedimentary soils at 300 feet on the southwestern slopes of the AVA. Medium-bodied with vibrant acidity, it showcases fruit-driven notes of cherry, dark berries, and a subtle, polished mouthfeel. A true expression of everything we love in Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.

BUY

2022 Chehalem Mountain Vineyard Pinot Noir, $80

This wine hails from the historic Chehalem Mountain Vineyard, originally planted by Dick Erath in 1969, making it the third-oldest vineyard in the Willamette Valley. The significance of this iconic site in Oregon’s winemaking history cannot be overstated, having produced some of the state’s most highly rated and sought-after wines. In 2022, we welcomed this vineyard into our estate and began its transition to organic and biodynamic certification.

The fruit for this wine comes from Clone 115, grafted onto 3309 rootstock, with a vine spacing of 7×5 feet to encourage healthy root competition and reduce vine vigor. The block sits at an elevation of 470 feet, and the soil is Wellsdale Loam, derived from oceanic sedimentary deposits. Known for imparting exceptional aging potential, Wellsdale soils have a reputation for crafting wines with impressive cellaring longevity.

The wine was aged for 9 months in oak barrels, with a mix of 40% new, 20% second-fill, and 40% third-fill or older barrels.

BUY

The 2022 vintage marks a return to the supple, classic style of Oregon Pinot Noir.
